The hotel is very comfortable, the large rooms have a great view of the Neva river, and the location is convenient. However, two drawbacks. One, the hotel hosts large number of tour groups and the breakfast is a little chaotic and basic. The area resembles an American school cafeteria and hard to find seating, the food gets over, and the tables stay dirty despite the excellent staff. Other problem is that the hotel was inconsistent with providing water and tea/coffee sachets in the room. Water is basic and should have been given. Some got it on some days, some got in on all days, and many never got it and were told it is not part of the package.
