From August 1, 2010 at the Hotel Moscow St Petersburg smoking is permitted only in specially designated areas: in restaurants and the hotel grounds. Smoking is prohibited in hotel rooms and halls. Over the past year requests for smoking rooms have become increasingly rare while demand for non-smoking rooms multiplied.
